Personal Quotes:
Am I a romantic at heart? Who knows.

All I know is that I've ruled out wearing fairy wings. When I was nine I wanted to get married in fairy wings, and now I realize that's not cool anymore.

I've never had a good-looking boyfriend, well, in the stereotypical way. A lot of people find someone attractive that others don't. Otherwise, all our men would be taken by Claudia Schiffer!

I love the power women have. I think women rule the world because they rule men. Manipulating men -- that's our job. That's what we're on the planet for.

I always liked Elvis Presley when I was younger - I told anyone who would listen that I was going to marry that man. I didn't realize then that he had died.

[After she gives birth] There is no way I am going to worry about missing out on work or the pressure to lose weight. At the moment I am not even planning any work.

I love acting, love it. It's the greatest fun in the world. I've always had no trouble feeling extremely grateful. So even though, comparatively, I wasn't doing so well, I thought I was on top of the world.

Hot Pop Star Lily Allen

Famous as : Pop singer
Birth Name : Lily Rose Beatrice Allen
Birth Date : May 02, 1985
Birth Place :Hammersmith, London, UK
Claim to fame :Single "Smile" (2006)

Biography

Being labeled a "pop 'It Girl' with the power to unite demographic tribes like no one since The Streets or the Arctic Monkeys" by the UK newspaper The Observer, Lily Allen smoothly managed to gain wide recognition at such a very young age. Born Lily Rose Beatrice Allen on May 2, 1985 in Hammersmith, London she was the daughter of actor/comedian Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen. Grew up in Shepherds Bush and Bloomsbury before finally settled in the North London borough of Islington, her early life was an unusual one as she changed school for an incredible thirteen times which consequently gave her little chance to make lasting friendships for sure. This circumstance inevitably prompted the girl to find way in her attempt to entertain herself, and music delightfully appeared to be the primary answer as she then constantly spent time to listen to everything from T. Rex, The Specials, and The Slits to Happy Mondays and jungle music, commonly known as drum and bass.

Ashlee Takes on a Weighty Subject: Jessica Simpson

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has a bone to pick with those who say her sister is looking a bit meatier than usual.

"I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister's weight," Simpson wrote Tuesday on her website. "A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman's weight or figure as a headline on Fox News."

Sure enough, Fox's website reported today that Jessica Simpson shocked fans Sunday at Radio 99.9 Kiss Country's Chili Cookoff in Pembroke Pines, Fla., with her "noticeably fuller figure" and had apparently "eased up on her fitness regimen a bit."

Hmmph, says Ashlee.

"All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you're a celebrity, there shouldn't be a different standard," the younger Simpson sis continued.

"Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it. How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Now we can focus on the things that really matter."

Well, some of us can.

In response to the hullabaloo caused by, at worst, a pair of unflattering high-waisted jeans, Simpson's former trainer told Extra that Jessica Simpson is perfectly healthy and "has curves where a woman needs to have curves.

"We all go a little bit up and a little bit down," Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak said. "But she's healthy. She's still sexy. She's still a beautiful woman. And I have no problem with the way she looks. I think if more people looked the way she looks now, the country would be a lot healthier."
